Two-day jail sentence in petty case by Chandrayangutta Police earns conviction

Hyderabad: Chandrayangutta Police Station under Hyderabad City South East Zone secured a conviction in an E-petty case, with the accused sentenced to two days in jail under Section 70(A) of the City Police (CP) Act.

The case bearing E-petty number HYD2335PC 1044/2025 and STC No. 4621/2025 was tried by the Hon’ble IXth Special Metropolitan Magistrate (Incharge), Sri Manda Murali, at the Manoranjan Complex, Gandhi Bhavan, Nampally.

The convicted individual, K. Shankar, son of K. Somla, aged 28 and a resident of Chandrayangutta, works as a labourer.

Inspector R. Gopi of PS Chandrayangutta supervised the investigation, with CDO PC 30946 B. Bharath Kumar assisting in the case proceedings.

The court delivered the two-day imprisonment order on July 24, 2025, marking a successful minor conviction for the station.
