banned injections

Hyderabad: Chatrinaka police seized 423 banned pharmaceutical injections valued at ₹5 lakh and arrested two men accused of selling them illegally. The seizure was made within the limits of Chatrinaka Police Station.

The accused—Mohammad Zubair and Vinay—were reportedly caught in possession of the injections while attempting to distribute them. Officials said the drugs are prohibited under applicable laws and cannot be sold without regulatory clearance.

Police also recovered two motorcycles allegedly used in the supply chain, along with two mobile phones and ₹9,430 in cash. All materials were confiscated on site.

Authorities are investigating the origin of the substances and possible links to a broader distribution network.
