Hyderabad: The Child Rights Commission will launch awareness programs for children and parents through T-SAT, focusing on child rights, protection, and social issues.
On Friday, Commission Chairperson Kothakota Seetha Dayakar Reddy and members met T-SAT CEO Bodanapalli Venugopal Reddy in Hyderabad. T-SAT has already been running programs related to education, healthcare, employment, and agriculture.
Child Rights Commission T-SAT programs to focus on protection and awareness
The Commission and T-SAT discussed partnerships with the Women Development & Child Welfare Department and the School Education Department. They agreed to design new programs for children on issues such as child abuse, prevention of child marriages, and the risks of digital media.
The Commission also announced monthly awareness sessions on the Juvenile Justice Act, child protection, and community campaigns. Officials stressed that parents would play a key role, as the sessions aim to help them guide children in a digital age.
Chairperson Seetha Dayakar Reddy attended the meeting along with members Vachan Kumar, Vandana Goud, Chandana, Aparna, Saritha, and Premalatha Agarwal. T-SAT CEO Venugopal Reddy and staff also participated.
