HYDERABAD: The prime suspect in the attack on Chilkur Balaji Temple’s head priest, Rangarajan, has been presented before the Rajendranagar court today. The accused, Veera Raghava Reddy, was interrogated by the police for three days regarding the assault. Following the completion of his police custody, he was brought before the court and later shifted to Chanchalguda Jail as per judicial orders.
Police Investigation Reveals Key Findings
According to sources, police investigations have uncovered significant details. Reports suggest that Raghava Reddy had visited six major temples across the two Telugu states, meeting with head priests and collecting funds in the name of establishing “Ram Rajya.”
Authorities have initiated a probe into his financial transactions, and banks have been formally requested to provide details of his accounts.
Multiple Arrests Made, More Suspects on the Run
In connection with the attack on head priest Rangarajan, the police have arrested 20 individuals so far, all of whom have been placed under judicial custody. Meanwhile, four more accused are still absconding. Moinabad police are actively working to trace and apprehend them.
