HYDERABAD, February 12: The Telangana Civil Supplies Department has issued a clarification on Wednesday stating that applicants for new ration cards do not need to submit their application receipts at any other office. The announcement aims to address confusion among applicants who have been queuing at multiple offices for submission.
According to officials, people applying through MeeSeva centres were under the impression that they needed to submit the receipt at the Civil Supplies Office. The department has now confirmed that this is unnecessary, and the process will be handled directly through the online application system.
Authorities have urged applicants to follow official guidelines and avoid unnecessary visits to government offices. Further instructions on ration card processing will be communicated in due course.
