Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate the six-lane Shilpa Layout Out Phase-2 flyover in Serilingampally on June 28 at 4 p.m. The flyover, built at an estimated cost of ₹182.72 crore, is expected to ease traffic congestion in the growing IT corridor.
Ahead of the visit, GHMC Commissioner R.V. has been overseeing final preparations on the ground. He directed officials to ensure arrangements are complete and without lapses.
The Public Accounts Committee Chairman and Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi, along with zonal and project engineers, inspected the flyover stretch along with the GHMC Commissioner. The inspection covered the area around the inauguration plaque and the proposed public meeting site.
The flyover spans 1.20 km from the Outer Ring Road to Kondapur. It is expected to ease congestion towards the Financial District, Madhapur, and Shamshabad.
Commissioner Karnan noted that return traffic to Kondapur via Gachibowli junction will also improve with the new route, reducing delays.
Zonal Commissioner Hemant Sahadev Rao, Project Chief Engineer Bhaskar Reddy, along with SEs, Executive Engineers, and Deputy EEs, were part of the site review.
