CM Revanth Reddy focuses on Praja Palana, SLP issue in Cabinet meet

Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy chaired a Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat on Thursday. The meeting focused on two major issues — the Praja Palana – Praja Vijayotsavalu celebrations and the government’s legal plan after the Supreme Court dismissed the Special Leave Petition (SLP) on BC reservations.

The Cabinet decided to hold Praja Palana – Praja Vijayotsavalu from December 1 to 9 across Telangana. The event will mark two years of the “Praja Government.” Officials said the celebrations will highlight welfare and development programs launched in the last two years.

Ministers also discussed the next steps after the Supreme Court rejected the Special Leave Petition (SLP). CM Revanth Reddy directed officials to meet senior advocates and legal experts. He asked them to submit an action report within two days.

Cabinet clears new colleges and road projects

The Cabinet approved three new agricultural colleges under Acharya Jayashankar Agricultural University. The colleges will come up in Nalgonda, Nizamabad, and Vikarabad districts.

It also cleared the Srisailam Elevated Corridor project, with the state government funding 50 per cent of the cost. The Cabinet sanctioned the HAM roads project, covering 5,566 km at ₹10,547 crore.
