Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed city administration to remain on high alert and act in coordinated response to persistent heavy rains across Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister instructed Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, Water Works, electricity department, and police to function in coordination to ensure immediate relief in flood-affected areas.
Revanth Reddy also ordered deployment of State Disaster Response Force, National Disaster Response Force, HYDRAA (Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection) teams, and related departmental staff across vulnerable zones.
He directed officials to prioritise prompt action on public complaints and ensure swift redressal of waterlogging and disruptions caused by rain.
