HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy visited Wanaparthy on Sunday, where he offered special prayers at Venkateswara Swamy Temple. He also laid the foundation for several development projects aimed at improving infrastructure and public services in the region.
Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha, Seethakka, Jupalli Krishna Rao, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, State Planning Board Vice Chairman Chinna Reddy, Wanaparthy MLA Megha Reddy, district legislators, and party leaders accompanied him during the visit.
Foundation Laid for Key Projects
CM Revanth Reddy inaugurated and laid the foundation for multiple projects in Wanaparthy, including:
- New building for Wanaparthy Government General Hospital (GGH)
- Young India Integrated Residential School building
- Construction of ZPHS (Boys) and Junior College buildings
- Wanaparthy IT Tower
- Development works at Sri Rangapuram Temple
- 30-bed Government Hospital in Pebberu
- BT Road construction in Rajanagaram and Peddamandadi
- CCR Road development works
The Chief Minister also inaugurated various development projects at Wanaparthy Government College, attended by Ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha, Jupalli Krishna Rao, Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, Planning Board Vice Chairman Chinna Reddy, MLA Megha Reddy, MP Mallu Ravi, and other officials.
During his visit, CM Revanth Reddy stopped at the house where he had lived for 12 years on rent. The house owner and family members warmly welcomed him, offering a traditional harathi. The Chief Minister reminisced about his time spent at the residence and his connection to Wanaparthy.

- School Reunion: The Chief Minister held a heartfelt meeting with his former schoolmates at the Wanaparthy MLA Camp Office.
- Lunch with Teachers and Friends: Revanth Reddy shared a meal with his former schoolteachers and friends at the MLA Camp Office.
- Visit to KDR Polytechnic College: The CM visited stalls set up under the State Minority Finance Corporation at KDR Polytechnic College. He also distributed free sewing machines to women as part of the corporation’s welfare initiatives.
- Loan and Job Mela: The Chief Minister inspected the Loan and Job Mela stalls organized at the college.
