HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has secured the 28th position in the prestigious Indian Express Power List 2025, marking an 11-rank rise from his 39th position last year. This recognition highlights his growing political influence and strong administrative leadership.
The Indian Express Power List annually ranks India’s most influential figures across politics, business, sports, and entertainment. CM Revanth Reddy’s improved ranking acknowledges his governance initiatives and his role in strengthening the India Alliance coalition. The top 10 positions in the list include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi.
CM Reddy’s rise in national rankings signifies his growing stature beyond Telangana. Initially recognized as a regional leader, he has now established himself as a dynamic force in Indian politics. His higher ranking reflects national acknowledgment of his governance model and political strategies.
“This recognition by the Indian Express Power List 2025 validates our CM’s unwavering commitment to transparent governance and inclusive development,” said Mahesh Goud, TPCC president. “Every recognition comes with greater responsibility toward the people of Telangana and India.”
The list also features other influential Chief Ministers from the India Alliance, further cementing CM Reddy’s position as a key strategist within the coalition. His ability to align regional priorities with national policies has made him a crucial voice in shaping the alliance’s future.
CM Revanth Reddy’s rise comes after his successful implementation of groundbreaking initiatives, including a ₹21,000 crore farm loan waiver (covering loans up to ₹2 lakh), a ₹500 paddy bonus, women-led entrepreneurship programs involving solar power plants and petrol bunks, the establishment of a world-class Skills University, and a pioneering move to appoint transgender individuals as traffic police personnel. His strong stance on delimitation at the recent Chennai conclave also bolstered his national prominence.
His increasing influence signals a shift in Indian politics, with regional leaders playing a greater role in shaping national discourse and governance.
