Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy will visit his native Kondareddypalli village in Vangoor mandal of Nagarkurnool district today, Thursday, to celebrate Dasara with family and villagers. This marks his second visit to the village as Chief Minister during the festival.
For years, the Reddy family has gathered in Kondareddypalli to jointly celebrate Dasara. Last year, Revanth Reddy joined relatives and villagers for grand festivities after assuming office.
Kondareddypalli prepares for CM Revanth Reddy’s Dasara celebrations
The Kondareddypalli Village Development Committee, led by chairman Enumula Krishna Reddy, made elaborate arrangements for the celebrations. The village, which has drawn attention for its development programmes under state initiatives, is now regarded as one of the most progressive in the region.
Officials said the Chief Minister will reach Kondareddypalli at 2 p.m. on Thursday. He will perform Jami Puja in the evening before leaving for Kodangal at 8 p.m. to stay overnight. Achampet MLA Dr Vamsikrishna and KV Reddy inspected arrangements in the village ahead of the visit.
