HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy extended Ugadi wishes to the people, hoping for prosperity and happiness in the new year, Vishwavasu Nama Samvatsaram. Speaking at Ravindra Bharathi, he emphasized that welfare and development must go hand in hand while ensuring equal opportunities for employment and livelihood.

Referring to the budget presented by Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, he called it a “Ugadi Pachadi,” symbolizing a mix of six flavors—indicating the balance of allocations across all sectors. He stressed the government’s commitment to agricultural growth and education for the underprivileged.

“The budget prioritizes education, healthcare, employment, and welfare, ensuring funds are allocated to every crucial sector,” he stated, adding that the government is making consistent efforts to put Telangana on a strong developmental trajectory.

Highlighting his vision for the state’s future, CM Revanth Reddy reiterated his slogan “Telangana Rising,” aiming to make the state a shining example for the country. He emphasized the necessity of developing new cities in India and announced that Telangana has initiated the construction of “Future City,” set to become a hub for investments.

CM Revanth Reddy also praised the Congress party’s historical role in bringing the Food Security Act to combat hunger. Taking a step further, his government is launching a scheme on Ugadi to provide fine rice to the poor.

“Telangana has emerged as a leader in rice production, and we will ensure that the fine grain cultivated by our farmers reaches the needy,” he declared.

He asserted that the government’s policy is to increase income and uplift the poor, prioritizing inclusive growth.

“This is not the time for political debates but for development. Our approach and commitment are clear. Through the Telangana Rising 2050 plan, we will set an example for the entire nation,” he concluded.
