Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to visit Medaram this week to review development works aimed at providing better facilities for devotees. Sources indicated that the CM will tour the sacred site on September 13 or 14 and lay the foundation stone for the modernization of temple platforms.
Two days ago, Revanth Reddy held a review meeting with senior officials on the development of Medaram and Basara temples. He instructed that all works be expedited to ensure devotees face no inconvenience during the upcoming Sammakka-Saralamma jatara.
Development works to finish in 100 days
The CM directed officials to prepare special plans to complete Medaram development within 100 days. He also asked that check dams be constructed in Jampanna Vagu to ensure water availability in the future. Revanth Reddy confirmed he would personally inspect works at Medaram this week.
