Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and TPCC president, MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud, held an extensive meeting lasting over one and a half hours, focusing on critical political and organisational matters in the state.
Party sources indicated that the leaders deliberated on convening the TPCC Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meeting on August 16 or 17. The PAC is expected to consider the views of a majority of senior leaders before deciding on the proposal to raise Backward Classes reservations to 42 per cent and on the strategy for upcoming local body elections.
The discussions also covered expediting the announcement of appointments to posts of board and corporation directors. Strategy for the forthcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election was also reviewed, with emphasis on party positioning and campaign themes.

During the talks, the leaders examined issues raised by the public during the recent Janahita padayatra and explored solutions. They also discussed measures to intensify outreach on the Congress government’s development and welfare programmes, aiming to expand public awareness across the state.
