Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy decided to scale up arrangements for the Medaram Jatara, Asia’s largest tribal fair. Unlike previous governments, which made only temporary arrangements, the present administration promised permanent facilities and closer attention.
For the first time, a Chief Minister personally reviewed preparations for the event. Revanth Reddy planned a field visit to Medaram on Tuesday to inspect works and interact with priests and officials.
CM to visit Medaram for review and puja
According to the schedule, the Chief Minister will leave his Hyderabad residence at 10.30 am and reach Begumpet airport by 10.45 am. He will then fly by helicopter and arrive at Medaram around noon.
At 12.15 pm, he will visit the Sammakka-Saralamma temple altars and perform special pujas. He will then meet temple priests, lay foundation stones for development works, and address a public gathering in the temple premises. He will also review a presentation on the temple’s redevelopment.
Between 1.30 pm and 2.30 pm, the Chief Minister will remain at the police command control room. At 2.30 pm, he will return to Hyderabad.
