Hyderabad: Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district collector Hanumanth Rao visited ex-DSP Nalini at her residence on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s orders. Nalini has been unwell and recently posted a letter on Facebook claiming to be in a life-threatening condition.
The collector enquired about her health and assured full medical support. He said the government would also resolve her service-related issues soon. The state will bear the cost of her current and future treatment, he added.
The collector conveys the government assurance to Nalini
Hanumanth Rao informed Nalini that earlier medical expenses would be reimbursed through the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He said the government remained ready to provide further assistance if required.
After the meeting, the collector told reporters Nalini was recovering through Ayurveda and yoga. She informed him that her current medical expenses were not heavy. He noted she raised concerns about her service rules, which he would place before the government. He wished her a full recovery.
Nalini, who hails from Bhongir, had posted a letter on Facebook on Sunday describing it as a will and death declaration. The message created a stir and prompted the Chief Minister to direct the collector to meet her.
