HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) have lodged complaints against Chief Minister (CM) Revanth Reddy, alleging inappropriate remarks about former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). On Friday, BRS MLAs filed a complaint at the Pet Basheerabad police station, urging legal action against CM Revanth Reddy for his alleged disrespectful comments about KCR. The complaint was submitted to the Station House Officer (SHO) by Medchal District President and Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) Shambipur Raju, along with MLAs Vivekananda of Quthbullapur and Marri Rajasekhar Reddy of Malkajgiri.
Complaint Filed at Film Nagar Police Station
In a related development, MLC Dasoju Sravan Kumar filed a complaint against Revanth Reddy at the Film Nagar police station. He questioned whether Revanth Reddy and an MLA were conspiring to commit murder, asking, “Are they plotting to kill because we questioned Congress’s false promises?” He also criticized Revanth Reddy’s language, stating that even fellow minister Komatireddy has accused him of buying the PCC president position with money. Sravan Kumar demanded that Revanth Reddy change his violent rhetoric and called on the Director General of Police (DGP) to take action regarding the language used against KCR.
