HYDERABAD: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has intensified its preparations for the upcoming graduates’ constituency MLC elections. TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud convened a high-level Zoom meeting to discuss the Congress MLC election strategy.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, and key state ministers, including Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Raja Narasimha, Seethakka, Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar, Konda Surekha, and Jupally Krishna Rao, participated in the meeting. Senior leaders MLC Jeevan Reddy and party MLC candidate A Narender Reddy were also present.
CM Revanth Reddy outlined the Congress MLC election strategy, emphasizing the government’s achievements over the past year. He highlighted key initiatives, including the recruitment of 55,000 jobs, the establishment of skill and sports universities, and securing nearly Rs 2 lakh crore in investments. He urged party leaders to reach out to graduates and young voters, showcasing Congress’s commitment to development and employment generation. Expressing confidence, he stated that the party is in a strong position to secure victory in the MLC elections.
Meenakshi Natrajan attends first meeting as new AICC Incharge
This meeting marked the first appearance of Meenakshi Natarajan as Telangana Congress in-charge. She reaffirmed her dedication to strengthening the party and recalled her long association with Telangana leaders. Stressing the importance of the graduates’ constituency elections, she urged party workers to mobilize effectively and ensure a decisive Congress win.
Congress leaders also discussed voter outreach plans, campaign strategies, and grassroots mobilization efforts. A special focus was placed on leveraging digital platforms and direct engagement with graduates. The party leadership instructed members to highlight the government’s achievements in every interaction.
With the election date approaching, TPCC has called for a coordinated campaign across districts. The party aims to intensify door-to-door outreach and maximize voter participation. Congress leaders believe that a strong grassroots effort, backed by the government’s performance, will secure a clear mandate in the MLC elections.
