HYDERABAD: Congress party’s new Telangana incharge, Meenakshi Natrajan, has taken a significant decision to resolve internal differences and maintain party unity. She has devised a strategic plan to foster harmony between senior and newly inducted leaders by introducing a categorization system.
As part of her approach, leaders within the party have been divided into three categories:
- Leaders who have been with Congress since the beginning.
- Leaders who joined before elections from other parties.
- Leaders who joined after the party came to power.
Meenakshi Natrajan stated that party positions and nominated posts will be allocated based on this categorization. This method aims to ensure fairness and maintain balance within the party’s leadership structure.
With this classification, the party hopes to streamline decision-making, prevent internal conflicts, and strengthen coordination between long-time and newly joined leaders.
