Jubilee Hills bypoll

Hyderabad: The Congress party has appointed three ministers and 18 corporation chairpersons to lead its campaign in the Jubilee Hills bypoll. Ministers Vivek Venkatswamy, Ponnam Prabhakar, and Tummala Nageswara Rao have been named in charge. Each will head a team of six chairpersons.

Minister Tummala met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Congress state in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan separately on Wednesday. Discussions focused on campaign strategies for the Jubilee Hills bypoll and appointments of in-charges for upcoming local body polls in the erstwhile Karimnagar district. The Chief Minister reportedly advised him to intensify outreach efforts.

Later in the evening, Tummala held a strategy session at his residence with senior party leaders.
