HYDERABAD, February 6: The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) convened at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Centre under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday ended after discussing several important issues. The meeting addressed several significant matters, including recent instances of party members deviating from official positions. It was resolved that any leader opposing Congress decisions would face stringent action. Senior leaders advised that members with concerns regarding party policies should engage in internal discussions.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy provided guidance to Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) concerning strategies for upcoming local body elections. The meeting featured in-depth discussions on the Backward Classes (BC) caste census and the categorisation of Scheduled Castes (SC). The party decided to organise two major public rallies to communicate these historic decisions to the populace. Plans were made to invite Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader Rahul Gandhi to these events.
