Hyderabad: The All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Wednesday confirmed that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had approved the candidature of Naveen Yadav for the upcoming by-election to the Telangana Legislative Assembly from the Jubilee Hills constituency.
The announcement was made through an official communication issued by AICC General Secretary (Organisation) K. C. Venugopal. The Jubilee Hills seat falls under Constituency No. 61.
Naveen Yadav, aged 41, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from CSIIT, Begumpet. His political involvement in Jubilee Hills dates back to 2014, when he contested the Assembly election on an AIMIM ticket, and again in 2018 as an Independent.

He joined the Congress party in 2023 and served as the election in-charge for the Jubilee Hills segment. Outside of politics, Yadav has held leadership roles as President of the State Yadava Student Wing and the Telangana Throwball Association. He also founded the NGO “Nav Yuva Nirman,” which focuses on youth development initiatives.
