Hyderabad: Congress leaders will pay homage to former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy on his birth anniversary on Tuesday. A floral tribute will be offered at his statue in Panjagutta at 10:30 am, party officials confirmed on Sunday.
TPCC president and MLC Anumula Mahesh Kumar Goud, former Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, state ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and senior Congress leaders are scheduled to attend the event.
Later, at 11 am, party leaders will gather at Gandhi Bhavan to place floral tributes at Dr YSR’s portrait in a separate ceremony.
The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has urged its cadres and leaders to turn out in large numbers to honour the legacy of the late leader.
