Hyderabad: A cordon search was carried out at Singareni Colony under Saidabad police station limits on instructions of DG & CP Hyderabad Mr. C.V. Anand IPS. The operation, led by DCP Southeast Mr. S. Chaitanya Kumar IPS, deployed over 200 police personnel.
During the exercise, police detained 53 vehicles found without valid documents. Officials also seized two illegal gas refilling cylinders and arrested one absconding criminal.
In addition, 26 suspects were taken into custody to verify their activities, while five local rowdy-sheeters were detained and counselled.
DCP Southeast Mr. S. Chaitanya Kumar IPS later briefed the media on the details of the operation.
