HYDERABAD: A moving lorry caught fire and was completely gutted near Chillapalli in Telangana’s Suryapet district.
The incident occurred while the lorry, which was carrying a load of cotton, was en route from Karimnagar to Chennai.
Local residents noticed the fire and immediately alerted the fire brigade. Firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the blaze under control, but by then, the lorry had been entirely destroyed.
Due to the presence of cotton, the fire spread rapidly, making the vehicle impossible to salvage.
No casualties were reported in the incident. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
