Hyderabad: A couple was robbed at knifepoint by six unidentified men near Kokapet on Monday night, triggering panic in the area. The gang reportedly assaulted the victims and fled with a gold chain and mobile phones.
According to initial reports, the couple was attacked while spending time near the Kokapet forest stretch. The assailants threatened them, causing severe distress, and then snatched their belongings.
After recovering from the shock, the victims approached the Narsingi police and filed a complaint. Police officials confirmed the incident and began a detailed investigation.
Narsingi Inspector Harikrishna Reddy said teams are working to identify and arrest the culprits. He assured that key details will be shared with the media by Tuesday evening.
