CPM denounces attack on CJI, seeks immediate arrest of Rakesh Kishore
At a protest near the Ambedkar statue in Tirumalagiri mandal, senior CPM leader Kadem Lingayya said the act insulted the Constitution and democracy. He called it a direct attack on social justice and the dignity of the judiciary.
Lingayya said such anti-social forces were growing stronger under the protection of RSS-backed groups. He accused the BJP government of destroying India’s secular and democratic fabric. “The Centre is promoting intolerance and undermining institutions,” he said.
The CPM demanded that police arrest Rakesh Kishore immediately. Party leaders urged the government to protect judicial honour. Senior leaders Kotthagattu Mallayya, Burugula Prabhakar, Somayya, Biksham, Yadagiri, and Ganesh joined the protest.
