Hyderabad: A crocodile was caught in a fishing net in Keshanikunta, near Mahammadapur village in Pangal mandal of Wanaparthy district, on Thursday night. The incident occurred while local fishermen were setting up nets for fishing.
The trapped reptile was discovered on Friday morning. Villagers immediately contacted Krishnasagar, the district president of the Sagar Snake Society, for assistance.

Krishnasagar reached the location and successfully removed the crocodile from the net without harm. The rescue effort ensured that neither the animal nor any person was injured.
The incident drew attention from locals, who gathered to witness the rescue. Wildlife volunteers reminded residents to stay alert in water bodies where crocodile presence is known or suspected.
