Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Traffic Police (CTP) advised IT and corporate firms in the city’s western corridor to allow employees to work from home on Friday, citing heavy overnight rain and forecasts of continued downpour.
Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Gajarao Bhupal issued the advisory, stressing commuter safety, smoother emergency movement, and reduced traffic congestion.

Authorities said fewer vehicles on roads would ease pressure on city traffic and safeguard employees during adverse weather. They appealed to IT companies and corporate houses in the Cyberabad corridor to cooperate with the advisory.
