Hyderabad: A tragic incident occurred in Ranga Pur village of Nandigama mandal when 34-year-old Jillela Murali, a local dairy farmer, died from an electric shock while attempting to repair a transformer.
According to villagers, Murali had gone to check the transformer after noticing power issues in his dairy farm. While inspecting the unit, he accidentally came into contact with live wires and was electrocuted. Locals rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead before arrival.
Murali is survived by his wife, son, and daughter. The incident has left the village in mourning, with many expressing shock over the preventable tragedy.
Authorities are expected to conduct an investigation to determine the cause and whether proper safety protocols were followed.
