Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) MLC Dasoju Sravan on Wednesday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of reducing Telangana’s governance to “politics of distraction and intimidation.” He claimed the Congress was attempting to impose authoritarian rule in the state.
Sravan accuses Congress of failing farmers and youth
In a post on platform X, Sravan alleged that farmers faced harassment even to access basic urea supplies. He also accused the government of misusing Backward Classes (BC) reservations through fraudulent bills and ordinances.
According to Sravan, the Congress regime had diverted public attention with probes into the Kaleshwaram project, commission allegations, and CBI investigations, while ignoring core governance issues.
He further alleged betrayal of unemployed youth in the Group-1 recruitment process. He claimed the government had failed to deliver on promises made before the elections.
BRS vows to counter Congress
Sravan declared that the BRS would mobilise public support to counter the Congress. He warned that the party would rise again to “end the Congress government of corruption and conspiracies.”
He accused the ruling party of focusing on political vendetta rather than governance. Sravan expressed confidence that the people of Telangana would reject such tactics.
