Hyderabad: A 25‑year‑old woman from Musheerabad allegedly murdered her father, Lingayya, after he opposed her affair. Investigators allege she laced his drink with sedatives before strangling him.
She reportedly went for the 2nd‑show movie immediately after the killing, then dumped his body in Edulabad Cheruvu near Ghatkesar. Authorities later recovered the deceased from the reservoir. His identity was confirmed as Lingayya of Musheerabad.
Police have detained the daughter, her boyfriend and her mother in connection with the case. A formal murder charge has been filed, and investigations are ongoing.
