Hyderabad: District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner RV Karnan on Saturday inspected the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) godown at Chudibazar ahead of the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election.
Additional Commissioner (Elections) Mangatayaru joined the inspection, along with representatives of all political parties.

Karnan personally reviewed security arrangements and checked the EVMs for functionality. He stressed that the inspection followed the Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines in full.
Officials said the district administration is putting in place comprehensive measures to ensure a transparent and fair electoral process. They added that all steps are being taken to guarantee smooth conduct of the bypoll.
