HYDERABAD, January 31: Members of the Deshpande Foundation met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss their initiatives aimed at improving social and economic conditions in rural areas. The foundation, which provides English training to students in government schools and works to enhance their skill development, sought government support for expanding its programmes in the state.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy suggested that the foundation collaborate with Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) to strengthen educational efforts for girls. He also requested the foundation to adopt the Government Women’s Degree College in Mahabubnagar to support higher education opportunities.
The foundation members welcomed the Chief Minister’s suggestions and agreed to explore these initiatives. Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Sridhar Babu, Chief Minister’s Special Secretary Ajit Reddy, and foundation representatives Gururaj Deshpande, Jayshree Deshpande, Raju Reddy, and G. Anil were present at the meeting.
