Hyderabad: German financial services giant Deutsche Börse will establish a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, creating 1,000 new IT jobs over the next two years, the company informed Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday.
The announcement came during a meeting between the Chief Minister and a delegation led by German Consul General Michael Hasper. The team explained that the new GCC forms part of Deutsche Börse’s broader expansion strategy and will contribute significantly to the region’s tech ecosystem.
Thanking the company for choosing Hyderabad, Revanth Reddy said the city had emerged as the top destination for technology investment in India. He assured the delegation that the Telangana government would provide complete support to global firms setting up operations in the state.
The Chief Minister urged German companies to explore investment opportunities in IT, pharmaceuticals, and the automotive sector. He also invited Germany to collaborate with Telangana in expanding industrial and technological ties.
Revanth Reddy asked the German Consul General to facilitate the deployment of German language teachers in Hyderabad and help initiate German language education in Telangana schools. He also sought support for vocational and skill development programs through the state-run TOMCOM.
Others present at the meeting included Deutsche Börse CIO/COO Dr. Christoph Bohm, CM’s Special Secretary Ajith Reddy, and Vishnuvardhan Reddy.
