Hyderabad: The state government has reappointed S. Devender Reddy as Director of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) for a one-year term following his retirement on July 31.

Urban Development Department Secretary K. Elambarthi issued the reappointment orders on Thursday under the Hyderabad Metropolitan Area jurisdiction.

Devender Reddy, who served as DTCP Director until his retirement, will continue in the same role from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2026. Instead of extending his previous service, the government has reappointed him.

Currently, he also holds the position of Additional Director at the Future City Development Authority.
