DK Shivakumar dismisses BJP switch rumors, pledges loyalty to Congress

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar has dismissed rumors of joining the BJP, stating that he remains committed to Congress. He accused political opponents of spreading false information to create confusion.

BENGALURU: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has dismissed speculations about his potential switch to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Addressing recent rumors, he firmly stated that there is no truth to such claims and reiterated his unwavering commitment to the Congress party.

Shivakumar alleged that political opponents were spreading false information to create confusion among party workers and the public. He reaffirmed his loyalty to the Congress leadership and emphasized that his primary focus remains on strengthening the party in Karnataka.

His statement comes at a crucial time as political dynamics in Karnataka and neighboring states continue to shift ahead of the upcoming elections.
