Hyderabad: The Prohibition and Excise Department, along with the Narcotics Task Force (NTF), busted a drug racket at the residence of a city-based doctor in Musheerabad. Officials arrested Dr. John Paul after seizing narcotic substances worth ₹3 lakh from his rented house.
Acting on a tip-off, officials raided the premises and found the doctor had allowed his residence to be used for drug storage and sales. Police said three others—identified as Pramod, Sandeep, and Sharath—supplied the drugs from Delhi and Bengaluru.

Investigators revealed that the suspects used Dr. John Paul’s house to stock narcotics and distribute them locally. In exchange, they offered him free drugs for personal use.
The seized substances include OG Kush, MDMA, cocaine, and hashish oil. Police have launched a manhunt to trace and arrest the three absconding suppliers.
Officials said the operation was part of a larger crackdown on urban drug networks operating through rented properties in Hyderabad.
