Hyderabad: A Class 1 student suffered severe injuries after a stray dogs attack inside the premises of a Telangana Model School in Mutyampalli, Kasipet mandal of Mancherial district, on Friday.
The victim, identified as Akshita, was with her mother in the hostel premises when a pack of stray dogs suddenly entered the school compound and attacked her.

Locals who witnessed the incident rushed to drive the dogs away and rescued the injured girl. The child sustained deep wounds on her head and body.
She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Doctors later advised surgery due to the severity of her head injuries, family members said.
Locals demand action against stray dog menace
Residents of Mutyampalli said stray dogs had become a serious threat in the area. They urged authorities to take immediate steps to control the menace and prevent such incidents in the future.
