Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday arrested Dornakal Inspector of Police Bhukya Rajesh and constable Dharavath Ravi for taking a ₹30,000 bribe in Mahabubabad district.
ACB officials said the two officers demanded ₹50,000 from a person to release a vehicle seized in a case at Dornakal police station. They promised to help the complainant in exchange for money. The officers took ₹30,000 as part of the bribe when ACB teams caught them red-handed.

The agency also assured that the identity of the complainant will be kept confidential.
