DOST special phase

Hyderabad: Registrations for the DOST special phase and spot admissions will be open from today July 25 to July 31, according to Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) Chairman and DOST Convenor Prof. V. Balakista Reddy. The schedule was formally released on Thursday.

Spot admissions will be held on August 11 and 12 for all private unaided colleges and self-financed courses in private aided colleges.

Special Phase Schedule:

Registration (Fee ₹400): July 25–31

Web options entry: July 25–31

Certificate verification: July 31

Seat allotment: August 3

Online self-reporting: August 3–6

College reporting: August 4–6

Students who registered earlier in DOST but were not allotted a seat are eligible to participate using their existing DOST ID and PIN. New applicants can register during the same window by paying the ₹400 fee. Those who have already confirmed a seat using CCOOTP are not eligible for this phase.

All local and non-local candidates are eligible for spot admissions, though spot-admitted students will not be entitled to scholarships. Students are encouraged to select a higher number of web options to maximise chances of seat allotment.
