Hyderabad, January 28: Candidates from the 2008 District Selection Committee (DSC) batch gathered in large numbers at Praja Bhavan to demand the issuance of their appointment orders. Despite a cabinet decision made a year ago to provide them with jobs, the candidates expressed frustration over the continued delay. They highlighted that certificate verification was completed in September, and they have been waiting for appointment orders for nearly five months.
The protesters urged the government to announce a schedule for issuing the appointment letters, noting that there are 1,399 candidates statewide awaiting placements. They appealed to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to intervene and resolve the issue promptly. The candidates also called for the announcement of a counselling schedule to facilitate their postings.
