HYDERABAD: A significant police presence was observed at Vidyut Soudha in Khairatabad on Thursday morning following a protest call by the Electricity Artisans Conversion Joint Action Committee (JAC). Anticipating a large-scale agitation, authorities deployed approximately 500 police personnel to maintain order.
The Electricity Artisans Conversion JAC had announced a ‘Chalo Vidyut Soudha’ protest to push for their demands. The demonstration has also received backing from the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)].
With the possibility of tensions escalating, security measures were strengthened to prevent any disruptions. Police forces have been stationed across key areas around Vidyut Soudha to manage the situation effectively.
