Hyderabad: Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has rolled out its services on the DigiLocker app, allowing users to check their PF balance, download passbooks, and access related documents directly through the platform.
EPFO confirmed the launch via a tweet, stating subscribers can now use DigiLocker to retrieve their PF passbook, balance details, UAN card, pension payment order, and scheme certificate from any location.
The new integration mirrors services previously available on the UMANG app and EPFO portal. With this update, Android smartphone users can now access these features through DigiLocker as well.
Currently, the facility is available only on Android. EPFO has stated that support for iOS users will follow soon.
EPF subscribers can also continue to use UMANG and the EPFO website for these services. Additionally, account holders can give a missed call from their registered mobile number to 99660 44425 to get balance information.
