Minister Seethakka felicitates Nizamabad shooter Esha Singh for historic bronze at World Championship

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister Seethakka on Tuesday felicitated Nizamabad shooter Esha Singh for creating history by winning India’s first-ever bronze medal in the 25-metre sports pistol event. The achievement also set a new national record.

Esha met the Minister at Praja Bhavan in Hyderabad, where she received praise for her medal-winning performance. The shooter had also secured two silver medals — one in the 10m air pistol mixed team event and another in the 10m air pistol team event.

Esha Singh shines at global shooting meet

Minister Seethakka lauded Esha’s stellar showing at the World Championship, where 720 athletes from 70 countries participated. The Minister said Esha made India proud by hoisting the national flag on a global stage.

She felicitated the young shooter with a shawl and extended her best wishes for future success, expressing confidence that Esha would go on to win many more international medals.
