Hyderabad: Excise police seized 8 kg of ganja and a ganja processing machine during a Sunday raid in Dhoolpet’s Dilawarjung area. They arrested two suspects, Rajasinh and Teljaram Singh, and placed them in judicial custody. The seized contraband is estimated to be worth ₹4 lakh.
Following the operation, police increased patrols in Dhoolpet and urged residents to report any ongoing drug activity in their neighbourhoods.
In a separate crackdown, Banjara Hills police caught two drug suppliers and recovered 14.83 grams of MDMA along with 70 grams of dry ganja. Investigators revealed that the suspects planned to distribute the drugs to customers across Hyderabad.
Police have stepped up anti-narcotics operations and affirmed their commitment to dismantling drug networks in urban areas.
