Massive fake liquor racket busted on Hyderabad outskirts

Hyderabad: A large-scale fake liquor racket was busted on the outskirts of Hyderabad, with police seizing thousands of litres of counterfeit alcohol along with fake labels, caps, and bottles.

The gang behind the operation had been blending cheap liquor with country-made spirits to replicate premium alcohol brands. The finished product was then supplied to shops in rural areas under the guise of top-shelf liquor.

Authorities uncovered a cache of manufacturing materials used to imitate branded liquor, raising concerns over public health and illegal supply chains.

Investigations are ongoing to trace the distribution network and identify all parties involved.
