HYDERABAD: A tragic incident occurred in Nizamabad district, where a farmer’s family was electrocuted while working on their farm. The incident took place on Thursday morning near Pegadapalli village.
The victims were identified as Gangaram (45), his wife Balamani (40), and their son Kishan (22), residents of Satapur village in Renjal mandal. The family was at their agricultural field, where water was being pumped for irrigation when the accident occurred near the borewell motor.
According to reports, Gangaram was the first to receive an electric shock. Seeing this, his wife Balamani rushed to save him but got electrocuted as well. Their son Kishan, who was nearby, noticed the situation and ran to help his parents. Unfortunately, as he tried to pull them away, he too was electrocuted. All three died on the spot.
Bodhan Rural CI Vijay Babu and SI Machhendar visited the site and registered a case. Officials confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the exact cause of the accident.
The tragic incident has cast a pall of grief over Satapur village, leaving the community in deep sorrow.
