HYDERABAD: The Telangana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Commission is set to visit Vanguru mandal — the native region of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy — today, as part of its outreach and awareness programme on land rights.
Commission Chairman M Kodanda Reddy and other members departed from Hyderabad earlier in the day for the visit. Their first stop will be Polkampalli village in Vanguru mandal, where they will participate in a Bhoo Bharati land rights awareness seminar scheduled at 10 a.m.
Following the session, the Commission is expected to inspect the Mandal Revenue Office (MRO) in Vanguru.
Later in the afternoon, around 2 p.m., the Commission will hold a meeting with farmers at the Nagarkurnool district collectorate to hear their issues and gather feedback related to agricultural and land matters.
The visit marks a significant engagement between the Farmers’ Welfare Commission and grassroots farming communities in the Chief Minister’s own constituency.
