Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer RV Karnan released the final voters’ list for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election on Tuesday. The roll shows 3.99 lakh voters, with July 1, 2025, as the qualifying date.
The list names 2,07,382 men, 1,91,593 women and 25 transgender voters.
Young, elderly and disabled voters count
Officials reported a gender ratio of 924 women for every 1,000 men. The list also records 6,106 young voters aged 18 to 19, 2,613 senior citizens over 80, and 1,891 disabled voters. Among them, 519 are blind, 667 have movement issues, 311 face hearing or speech problems, and 722 fall into other categories.
The roll also lists 95 overseas voters. Compared to the draft published on September 2 with 3,92,669 names, the updated list added 6,976 new voters.
Polling stations for the by-election
Each polling station will handle an average of 980 voters. For the bypoll, officials arranged 407 polling booths across 139 centres in the Jubilee Hills constituency.
